Biography: Dr. Mahan was born in Texas. His family moved to St. Louis when he was 4 years old. Later he lived in Southern California. He also spent time in Mexico and New York. He has lived in Oxford since 1981. He has two grown children and one stepson living at home. His personal interests include: golf, travel, personal aircraft, acoustic/rhythm guitars and fine red wines.
